Nikolay Deliyanev, born in Sandanski (Bulgaria) in 1973, lives and works between Rome and Bulgaria.

He studied art in the high school ‘’Saints Cyril and Methodius’’ in Bulgaria.

The painter is especially passionate at Optical Art after his encounter in Rome with Venezuelan painter Wilmer Herrison.

The bulgarian artist who, through the flow of colors that intertwine with each other, creates a structure that takes on a linear, graphic, oscillating and vibrant character.

Movement is the element of inspiration in its creative process, where each line causes sensory movements, as if they were different energies, creating optical and geometric phenomena.

Through the lines, his imagined and abstract works are revealed as a rhythmic synchronization of lines and colors and are all pervaded by a subtle tension, pulsations and vibrations.
